The journey through Cape May takes you away from your everyday grind, providing you an opportunity to relax and enjoy the beauty that nature provides.  It not only provides a relaxing environment, but also allows you to do one of the things you love most and that is to photographic incredible subjects.

Migrating birds will provide you not only with the challenge that doing this type of photography presents, but to produce some exquisite birding images with the help of instructors like Mike Parker who is one of our top birding photographer.  He is also very diverse in his photographic talents that certainly come in handy when photographing beautiful sunrises and sunsets around Cape May.

The Victorian architecture as well as the local seafaring surroundings will of course enable you to do some very fine photography of detail and Cape May life.

Itineraries have been established that will enable the best opportunities to capture the images you have signed on for.



Prerequisites

DIGITAL SLR CAMERA, DIGTAL BRIDGE CAMERA. LONG TELEPHOTO LENSES FOR SLR CAMERAS AS WELL AS WIDE ANGLE LENSES AND MACRO LENSES. THE BRIDGE CAMERA SHOULD HAVE A MACRO/CLOSEUP CAPABILITY AS WELL AS A LENS THAT GOES OUT TO AT LEAST 200MM. EXTRA MEMORY CARDS, EXTRA BATTERIES, PROPER CLOTHING FOR THE SEASON. SOME TYPE OF WATERPROOF SHOE OR BOOT.

Target group

PHOTOGRAPHERS WHO WANT TO EXPAND THEIR PHOTOGRAPHIC ABILITIES AND HAVE A DESIRE TO LEARN PROPER TECHNIQUES INVOLVING COMPOSITION, EXPOSURE,LENS SELECTION FOR A VARIETY OF SHOOTING SITUATIONS. IF YOU ARE MORE ADVANCED THEN YOU MIGHT BE LOOKING FOR NEW AND EXCITING LOCATIONS, BUT REMEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO LEARN.
