THIS IS A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY TO PHOTOGRAPH IN A WONDERFUL PLACE IN LUCKETTS, VA. HERE YOU WILL LEARN TO MODIFY YOUR LIGHT, WITH SUBJECTS THAT ARE UNIQUE IN OUR TIME. THERE ARE A GREAT MANY SUBJECTS TO CREATE IMAGES OF BOTH INDOORS AND OUTDOORS. LEARN COMPOSITION AND THE USE OF LIGHT TO ENHANCE YOUR CREATIONS.

"The Old Lucketts Store, is a beautiful, 3-story landmark building that was originally built in 1910. This historic building was once the post office, general store, then the Lucketts family home. The building has since been restored and is the home to over 20 antique dealers and is overflowing with vintage furniture, lighting, collectibles, 
garden artifacts, linens, and accessories. The Old Lucketts Store motto is, "You never know what you might find." I can vouch for that motto. You really never know what photographic treasures await you.
We have done several workshops at this location and it is just an incredible place with such a great diversity of subjects, that it is virtually impossible to NOT come back with unique and beautiful images.
We shall be working both indoors and outdoors, because there is so much subject matter in both areas and we shall be dealing with light modification, fill flash, composition and a great deal more.
This workshop is for students of all levels and allows you
to work with macro, wide angle, telephoto, flash, LIGHT MODIFIERS, and all the other creative tools you have in your arsenal.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Enrollment in Blue Ridge Workshops classes and
workshops is limited, therefore your commitment is important to us. If
you must withdraw from a workshop or a class, we provide this refund
policy:
A $25 administrative fee will be charged on all cancellations.
If you cancel 24-72 hours prior to the start of the
workshop or class, we will retain 50% of the total workshop fee, unless
we are able to fill your spot.
If you cancel 24 hours or less prior to the start date
of the workshop, we will retain 100% of the workshop fee unless we are
able to fill your spot. No refunds are given once the workshop begins.
On occasion we may cancel a class or a workshop because
of low enrollment or because of weather related or man made dangers
which are out of our control. Should this be the case, all monies
will be refunded in full.
Prerequisites
SINGLE LENS REFLEX FILM OR DIGITAL CAMERA. BRIDGE CAMERA, MEDIUM FORMAT CAMERA, FLASH IF YOU HAVE IT, MEMORY CARDS (SEVERAL), MACRO, TELEPHOTO, WIDE ANGLE WILL ALL BE USEFUL. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THEM THAT'S OK. IF YOU HAVE THEM ALL BUILT INTO ONE LENS, THAT WILL WORK TOO.

ANYONE WHO WANTS TO CAPTURE IMAGES OF THE PAST, IN UNIQUE WAYS WHILE LEARNING ABOUT LIGHT MODIFICATION, FLASH, MACRO, CLOSEUP AND CREATIVE WIDE ANGLE.
