Beautiful country side to photograph beautiful lilies, lotus and bees, and lots of other wonderful scenery. A great place to learn your Macro, Wide Angle, and Telephoto skills, along with outdoor lighting techniques. Learn to put your images together with proper composition. Learn to see your subjects in different ways. This is a class for all levels of photographic expertise.
Note: There is an
enrollment limit for this course and
registration is required.
"Lilypons is located on over 300 acres of
natural ponds, woods and rolling hills, next to the
Monocacy River. Graceful weeping willows greet you
as you curve around the entrance drive. You may catch a glimpse of a great blue heron taking flight or the
opening of a waterlily in the early morning."
THIS CLASS IS FOR ALL LEVELS.
The bees can be wonderful. That is if nature is cooperative. I got some great shots of those hard working creatures.
There is an incredible variety of water lilies to photograph. The colors and shapes are exceptional. Lots of Lotus are also in bloom this time of year.
Our instructors are here to
help every step of the way. Whether it's teaching you composition, assisting with getting the light just right, control of the depth in your image. We shall be here to assist you.
It is, as always our goal to make this a fun and rewarding as well as educational experience.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Enrollment in Blue Ridge Workshops classes and
workshops is limited, therefore your commitment is important to us. If
you must withdraw from a workshop or a class, we provide this refund
policy:
A $25 administrative fee will be charged on all cancellations.
If you cancel 24-72 hours prior to the start of the
workshop or class, we will retain 50% of the total workshop fee, unless
we are able to fill your spot.
If you cancel 24 hours or less prior to the start date
of the workshop, we will retain 100% of the workshop fee unless we are
able to fill your spot. No refunds are given once the workshop begins.
On occasion we may cancel a class or a workshop because
of low enrollment or because of weather related or man made dangers
which are out of our control. Should this be the case, all monies
will be refunded in full.
Prerequisites
DIGITAL SLR CAMERA OR 35MM SLR FILM CAMERA, MACRO LENS, TELEPHOTO LENS, WIDE ANGLE LENS. FLASH IF YOU HAVE IT. BRIDGE CAMERAS, THOSE HAVING A MINIMUM OF AT LEAST A 35MM LENS AND A TELEPHOTO OPTICAL ZOOM OF UP TO 200MM OR MORE, BUILT IN.((((SEE OUR LINK ABOVE ABOUT DIGITAL BRIDGE CAMERAS))))
