Perfect your skills in both Macro and Scenic photography, using outdoor available lighting techniques using reflectors and diffusers. Learn the the proper use of fill in flash. Learn how filters will enhance your images and how to properly compose and expose your images. FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS.

What an incredible place for enthusiastic photographers to come together to take incredibly beautiful photographic works of art that you and your family and friends can treasure.   It is such a diverse area that you will want to spend MORE than one day here.

Together, you will learn composition, exposure control, lightingIMG_1.jpg with both strobe and reflector / diffusers, putting you in control of the light around you.  And it is always about light. ALL SKILL LEVELS CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS CLASS.

SIGN UP EARLY

Green Spring Gardens is one of Washington DC area best kept secrets. It's a year-round gold mine of photographic inspiration for all levels of  creativeIMG_11.jpg photographers.  It's an outdoor classroom where photographers can learn to create wonderful images of many plant and flower species and the insects that live and work there.

There are wonderful diverse photographic opportunities:  a wooded stream valley with ponds, a naturalistic native plant garden, over 20 theme  gardens, a greenhouse filled with tropicals, Busy Bees moving from flowers to flowers, Dragon Flies, Butterflies.  Green Spring will educate, inspire, and delight you.  Once you discover Green Spring and learn how to photograph in this setting, you will want to come back often, as the gardens are always changing.

You will not simply be pointed in the right direction, you will be taught how to put your images togetherIMG_14.jpg through proper composition and exposure.

Digital Single Lens Reflex, Digital Point and Shoot Bridge Camera, 35mm Single Lens Reflex ((((The preferred Camera would be a digital camera.)))) It would be nice to have the following equipment--------- Telephoto Lens, Wide Angle Lens, Macro Lens, Tripod, - ((We shall have extra tripods with us)) Extra Batteries, Flash, Extra Memory Cards.

For those who want to capture the beauty of Spring Flowers and plush gardens and busy bees, through the proper use of light & composition, in an easy to hike setting. FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS.
