Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Blue Ridge Workshops works hard to keep the tuition for our workshops, field trips, and classes as low as possible. However, we incur costs even if a student cancels their reservation weeks in advance and, as the first day of the event gets closer, these costs increase.  Pay for instructors, fees for hotels, in the field staff expenses, fuel, etc. are based on a certain number of students for the workshop, field trips and classes.

To help us keep the cost of our events as affordable as possible, we have the following cancellation policy:

If you cancel  35 days before the first day of a workshop or the day of a field trip or class, we will refund your tuition less a $50 and any Paypal fees.
If you cancel after the 35 day period meaning between 34 days to 22 days before the first day of a workshop or the day of a field trip or class, we will refund 50% of your tuition.
If you cancel in less than 21 days before the first day of a workshop or the day of a field trip or class, no refund will be given.
As an alternative to canceling your registration, we will substitute a family or friend for you and not charge a handling fee. However, you will need to seek reimbursement from your replacement.
