While I am not really sure if the holiday is meant to be as much fun as it is, I do know that it gives us a perfect opportunity to have a street photography field trip workshop in Old Town Alexandria.
Street photography is an observers sport and the observer knows just the right moment to press the button to capture a once in a lifetime set of events that really tell a story.
We shall help you work your way through the processes of finding the subject, and making the preparation to quick the shutter and move on.
We shall have you look at your surroundings, feel the life energy around you just waiting to drawn through your lens to record an incredible image.
Probably one of the worst things you can feel as a novice street photographer is the feeling of intimidation when a subject catches your eye. We’ll do our best to help you get over that and to move and shoot as life unfolds around you.
The kind of camera you use is not an issue as a workshop like this lends itself to all types. Actually smaller, less obtrusive cameras make for a more stealth experience but Dslr’s are fast but more visible.
No tripods. Maybe monopods. Higher Iso’s, zone focusing and let’s go to work.
