The ultimate expression of a photographer’s work is a print. While you can display your images on a computer or in a digital frame, nothing has the impact of a well printed and exhibited image. This workshop will cover all the steps in preparing a digital file for printing, printing the image, and exhibiting the image. While there will be some lecture, this is a hands-on workshop and you will be working on your own images.
The intensive day will begin with instruction and then you will practice what you learned by processing and printing two of the image that you brought with you. During the day, we will cover the following:
Preparing the processed image for printing, e.g., upsizing and sharpening;
Printing the image, including choosing a printer and paper;
Preparing the printed image for exhibition; and
Exhibiting the printed image.
At the conclusion of the day, you will have the knowledge you need to print your images and exhibit them for maximum effect. So, join us to learn how to impress your family and friends with stunning printed images!
