MIKE ARNWINE
With thirty five years of experience in the computer business, Mike is a technology junkie who is obsessed with all things electronic.
He recently retired from Hewlett Packard after managing software and hardware support for clients like AOL, NASDAQ, the NYSE, and MCI. His full-time activities are now passionately devoted to photography.
Although he’s been taking pictures with SLRs for years, it was the digital imaging revolution that really made him thirst for better pictures and an understanding of the equipment to capture them. Having already committed to Canon with an EOS 3 film camera and L-series lenses, it was natural that he select the brand for his foray into digital, first with a 10D, then a 1Ds, a Rebel XTi, and finally a 5D. A number of fast primes and zooms complete a kit that allows him to shoot weddings, portraits, and sporting events in challenging and varied lighting conditions. He’s produced classes on Canon equipment that seek to cover all of the features, both controls and menus of the cameras, so that you can use their capabilities in the most effective and creative ways possible.
